Big day today (Thursday) at the Brookwood School in Manchester. We performed our Woman Who Outshone the Sun, and then presented 4 workshops for the 4th & 5th grades. We designed and prepped 80 masks for this program! 4th grade made Greek Satyr Chorus masks and 5th grade made Japanese masks. Each workshop was only 45 minutes long. In past year's, YAMA has brought a Grooversity Afro-Brazilian Drum and Dance parade to Boston Common. We brought Nancy Bell's performance about the contribution of Women to the American Revolution through the art of spinning to the Old Statehouse and we brought Shaw Pong Liu's Exploring China performance to a new arts center in Boston's Chinatown.
