This improv and music extravaganza is completely made up on the spot and highly interactive, featuring many opportunities for students to take the stage alongside the cast of professional improvisers. Travel Fee: $100 per day for locations within 150 miles round trip from Cambridge, MA 02139. For travel greater than 150 miles round trip, artist may request an additional fee. 


Note: Pricing may vary for weekends, out-of-school time, and performances spaced more than 30 minutes apart.


Processing Fee of $30 added to all contracts

Remote (live online): School sets up link for remote meeting and makes the artists co-hosts. Screen share must be enabled, however please turn off ‘annotation’ feature. Artist may need to sign on 20-30 minutes prior to the meeting to check sound levels. A representative from the school must be on the call to spotlight artist video, facilitate Q+A and mute students as needed. Please introduce the performers as a Young Audiences of Massachusetts ensemble.

  • 4 Lavalier (preferred) or handheld mics

  • If these cannot be provided, the artist can bring audio equipment with an added fee of $50/day

Performance Space:

  • Enough room for four performers to move around free of obstacles, set pieces, etc.
  • Ample lighting (front lighting) to illuminate actors anywhere on stage.
  • If a raised stage, safe and easily accessible stairs leading from audience to stage.

Minimum stage area dimensions: 10 feet wide by 6 feet deep
Arrival time before first performance: 45 minutes
Strike time: 15 minutes
Time needed between performances: 15 minutes minimum, 30 preferred

Outdoors: Sound system if available. If not, please inform Young Audiences. 


Teachers are expected to model appropriate audience behavior for students
