YAMA ARTISTS IN ACTION
Featured First: New England Gilbert & Sullivan Society’s Pirates of Penzance.
Since 1962, YAMA has served as a vital link between Massachusetts’ best performing and teaching artists, and students. Our cultural arts programs for schools advance the artistic and educational development of youth, enabling them to experience, understand, create, and connect in meaningful ways.
YAMA’s performances, workshops, and residencies in dance, music, theater, puppetry, storytelling, literary arts and visual arts are tied to Massachusetts learning standards and presented by a broad spectrum of artists and ensembles.
