The mission of Young Audiences of Massachusetts (YAMA) is to educate, inspire, and empower youth through the arts. We believe that arts are an essential component of both formal education and youth development, and that all students, regardless of backgrounds, talents, and abilities, deserve access to the rich educational opportunities inherent to arts learning. YAMA engages students through performances and workshops in schools and other learning centers. While learning places remain closed, we will continue to serve as an arts education resource. Scroll down for at-home arts learning activities. For more, follow us on facebook, twitter and instagram. To reschedule programming, email: firstname.lastname@example.org. You will find a list of artists with online program options in our NEWS section.
We look for programs that both educate and entertain. YAMA’s programs meet our requirements.
Through these experiences, the children are not only learning about new instruments, cultures, movement and language, they are also gaining confidence and broadening their life experiences.
I am so grateful to Young Audiences for giving us this gift of art, music and culture. Teachers came up to me to say things like “best ever” and “grand slam” and “couldn’t have been more perfect for our students.
